Building Trades Threaten Split with Philadelphia AFL-CIO Over Casey. UPDATE: Additional Details On The Apparent Casey/Philly AFL-CIO Internal Friction

Looks like Casey is having some problems securing the Philadelphia AFL-CIO's endorsement.

This line jumps right out at you. "Today, Santorum can probably count more Democratic Ward leaders on his team than Casey."

Apparently, memories of the 2002 Democrat Gubernatorial primary against then Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell appear to still be looming in the air...
