More on Santorum's Iran efforts

As Tim Chapman pointed out to us last week Senator Santorum has been working hard on condemning The President of Iran's irresponsible rhetoric and support the efforts for freedom within the Iranian nation while the Democrats have just been playing politics. The Democrats in the Senate held up the bill because they objected to phrasing in the resolution that called for a democratic process in Iran. Santorum removed these lines, which would have inspired hope on the Iranian street, from the bill to get the resolution through the Senate.
