Reality Check, Please
Either I'm completely missing something or Casey and his people are on drugs. The main criticism of the Americans for Job Security ads is that the group won't disclose its donors? I mean, I realize the the Dems have never been backed by any kind of "shadowy organization" or have ever declined to give us "full disclosure". There certainly aren't any kind of shady goings-on with 527's or George Soros' billions or anything like that, is there.? Not this time.
Let me ask one thing--have Jay and Silent Bob refuted anything at all in these ads? Did Rick Santorum really not support tax relief? I'd ask what Bob's position on the Bush tax cuts are, but we all know that would be largely rhetorical.
The only thing that Jay and Silent Bob are upset about is that someone (finally) has torn down the meme that Everybody But You Hates Rick Santorum. That's because this is their sole campaign strategy. I don't believe that Bob Casey can or will lay out a coherent plan for what he will do differently or how his presence in the Senate will be better for Pennsylvania. And I'm not holding my breath.
